Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how EdgeMind AI Labs, operated by Nirav Prajapati (“we”, “us”), the maker of ReplyPixel (the “App”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the App and this website. By using ReplyPixel, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
ReplyPixel is a pocket English coach for iOS and Android that lives in your keyboard and rewrites the rough draft you type into fluent, natural English. The data controller is EdgeMind AI Labs, operated by Nirav Prajapati. You can reach us at privacy@replypixel.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple, Google, or email, we receive an account identifier and your email address so we can create and secure your account.
- Text you submit to be rewritten. When you tap the coach, the App sends the draft you typed (read from the text field) plus any tone or instructions you add, so the AI can rewrite it into fluent English. The keyboard reads your text only when you tap — never while you type, and never in the background. Before your text leaves the device, on-device scrubbing removes detected sensitive data such as card numbers, emails, phone numbers, and one-time codes. (If you use the optional reply mode, the message you are replying to may be read from your clipboard on tap, only if copied recently.)
- Support messages. If you email us, we keep your message and contact details to respond.
Information collected automatically
- Device identifier. A generated device ID used for abuse prevention and rate limiting.
- Usage and billing metadata. Counts of rewrites, remaining allowance, and approximate token usage, used to operate your account and measure service costs.
- Website analytics. On this website we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and collects aggregate metrics (such as page views, referrer, and country). It does not track you across other sites and does not build a profile of you.
- Subscription status. Whether you have an active plan, received from the app stores via our payments processor.
3. How we use your information
- To rewrite your drafts into fluent English and provide the App’s core features.
- To create and secure your account and authenticate your requests.
- To operate credits, subscriptions, and purchases.
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and excessive usage.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. AI processing and third-party providers
To deliver the service we share limited data with the service providers (“sub-processors”) below. They process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Gemini API) | Rewrites your draft into fluent English | The draft text you submit to be rewritten |
| OpenAI | Alternate AI provider (fallback for the rewrite) | The draft text you submit to be rewritten |
| Cloudflare | Hosts our website and API gateway | Requests, device ID, usage metadata |
| Cloudflare Web Analytics | Cookieless website analytics | Aggregate page views, referrer, country (no cookies, no cross-site tracking) |
| Supabase | Authentication and database | Account ID, email, usage records |
| Apple / Google | Sign-in and app-store purchases | Account identifier, purchase status |
| RevenueCat | Manages subscriptions and purchases | Account identifier, purchase/subscription status |
| Resend | Sends transactional and support email | Email address, message content |
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Data retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Text you submit to be rewritten is processed to produce your fluent rewrites and is not retained by us as a stored history on our servers beyond what is needed to operate and troubleshoot the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data as described in Account & Data Deletion, except where we must retain limited records by law.
6. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and encrypted storage of authentication tokens on your device. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it.
7. Your rights and choices
- Access, correction, deletion. You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete your account and data at any time — see Account & Data Deletion.
- EEA/UK (GDPR). You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, and to object to certain processing. Our legal bases are contract performance (providing the App), legitimate interests (security and service improvement), consent (where required), and legal obligations. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA). You have rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of “sale”/“sharing.” We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined.
- India (DPDP Act, 2023). You may access, correct, and erase your personal data, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To make a request or raise a grievance, email privacy@replypixel.com.
- Your text. You control what you type and submit; the keyboard reads your draft only when you tap the coach — never while you type — as described above.
To exercise any right, email privacy@replypixel.com.
8. International data transfers
We and our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.
9. Children’s privacy
ReplyPixel is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@replypixel.com and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required.
